Emilio Ramos is an actor, dancer and singer based out of New York City. As 17-year-old Ritchie Valens, he has rock’n’rolled across various U.S. cities with Buddy, including on the fall/winter leg of the 2013-14 tour.
Los Angeles-born Emilio was raised in Melbourne, Australia, and trained early as a performer. He attended the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School, Australia’s premier high school for young artists, majoring in classical and contemporary dance. At age 18 he relocated to the U.S. and took up conservatory training in musical theatre at AMDA New York. Since graduating he has since been seen in several regional shows and most recently, the Broadway national tour of West Side Story as Chino.
