Miranda is a travelling actor, singer, and musician, proficient in trumpet and keyboard/piano, and teachable on guitar. Castable as Vi, ensemble, and/or concert musician, she's always looking to rock 'n' roll it with future productions of Buddy!

GIORGIO VOLPE

South Florida


Giorgio is a South Florida-based actor, singer, and musician who portrayed Ritchie Valens for the first time at The Wick Theatre (Boca Raton, FL) in 2024. He is proficient in guitar - both electric and acoustic - and also enjoyed playing “Rose of Texas” as one of the Hayriders.

STEPHANIE GARCIA

Colorado

Stephanie made her Buddy debut as Maria Elena and Clear Lake Back-Up Vocals/Dancer at Suncoast Broadway Dinner Theatre (Florida) in 2023. Originally from Miami, FL, she is a Cuban actress fluent in Spanish and now based out of Colorado. She'd love to be considered for future productions of the show!

ARMANDO GUTIERREZ

New York, NY


A multi-instrumentalist - drums, piano, and guitar - Armando has played the role of Cricket Jerry Allison in productions of Buddy at John W. Engeman Theater in Northport, Long Island, NY (2019), Forestburgh Playhouse, Forestburgh, NY (2019), and the Palace Theater in the Wisconsin Dells (2017). In 2021-22 he played the roles of both Ritchie Valens and Tommy (4th Cricket) in the Florida Studio Theatre production of the show in Sarasota, and at Florida Rep in Fort Myers.

Sarah is a Southern-born singer, songwriter, and actress living in New York. She has performed in numerous productions of Buddy, playing Vi Petty/Hayrider/Snowbird and keys, most recently in the 2020-21 U.S. tour, and at Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre in Indianapolis (2019).

Jennifer appeared in the 6th Street Playhouse production of Buddy in Santa Rosa, California (dir. DJ Salisbury), in early 2020, playing the roles of Mary Lou Sokoloff, Shirley, Peggy Sue, jingle singer, Clear Lake back-up vocals, and Keys 2. “I absolutely love doing this show and would love to do it again!” she says.

Playing the violin and piano to a high standard, Trinity has so far appeared in four productions of Buddy; two as Vi Petty/Shirley/Jingle Singer/Snowbird (Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, FL, and Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, PA) and two as Hayrider Fiddler/Shirley/Jingle Singer/Snowbird/Vi Understudy (Jersey Shore Entertainment, NJ, and Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, PA).  

MAYALIN QUINONES

Mayalin is an actress/singer/dancer originally from Houston, TX, who recently relocated to NYC. She is in her early 20s and played Maria Elena in Endstation Theatre Company’s production of Buddy in June 2018 (Lynchburg, VA).

Quinn portrayed the role of the Apollo performer, Jack Daw, and back-up singer/dancer in the Clear Lake concert in the fall 2017 production of Buddy at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre in Lancaster, PA. Also suited to play Keys 2.

ERIK FURUHEIM

Erik's first time performing as “J.P.” was at Tacoma Musical Playhouse in Washington state. His performance was so well received by reviewers and patrons alike that he was cast again three months later for the same role at The Palace Theater in Wisconsin Dells, WI (spring 2017).

Actress/singer/pianist Stephanie played the role of Apollo Performer Marlena Madison in OnStage Playhouse's production of Buddy in Chula Vista, CA, over the summer of 2016, and would love to be considered for future productions of the show!

Originally from Ormond Beach, Florida, Rachel is currently based in Astoria, New York. 25-year-old Rachel has played the roles of Maria Elena, Mary Lou, and a Snowbird in previous licensed productions of Buddy.

Mike is a New York based actor/singer who has portrayed the Big Bopper to much acclaim in many highly successful runs of Buddy including the recent 2015 US National Tour. He has also appeared as the Bopper in productions of Buddy at Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre (Fort Myers, FL), Laguna Playhouse (Laguna Beach, CA), Cortland Repertory Theatre (Cortland, NY), and Casino Rama Resort & Casino (Rama, ON).

DAVID REED

New York, NY

Originally hailing from Decatur, IL, David Reed has performed as Marvin Madison (Apollo Performer) on two national tours of Buddy (2015 U.S. and 2013 U.S. and Canada), and six productions of the show overall.
