Buddy had audiences dancing in the aisles in 2008, becoming the biggest hit in the theatre's history. The show was such a success, SCT remounted the production the following year in Mason City, IA, as part of the 50th Anniversary commemoration of 'the Day the Music Died'. Originally from Kennesaw, GA, Matt first played Buddy back in 2015 in the sold-out run of the show at Venice Theatre in Florida. Since then, he has gone on to perform in numerous other productions across the country, as Buddy and also the fourth Cricket. This year (2021), he will don the horn-rimmed glasses twice more!
