BUDDY DEMENTIA-FRIENDLY PERFORMANCES

This week is Dementia Action Week, the Alzheimer’s Society’s biggest and longest running awareness campaign.

Following on from this campaign week we are hosting three dementia-friendly performances during the Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story UK tour, so that people living with dementia, their families, and carers can experience the show in a more relaxed environment.

Studies point to the therapeutic benefits of music for people with dementia, improving mood, and helping to unlock memories. We hope all those coming enjoy the show and look forward to seeing you there!!

Dementia-friendly performance dates:

Theatre Severn, Shrewsbury – Thu 25th May at 2.30pm
Mayflower Theatre, Southampton – Wed 21 June at 2pm
Millennium Forum, Derry Londonderry – Thu 10 August at 2pm
