Vaughn is an actor/singer/musician who has worked in regional theatre around the U.S. for a number of years. He has performed the roles of Jerry Allison (of the Crickets) and Ritchie Valens in Buddy. All of the productions in which Vaughn appeared received rave reviews and impressive ticket sales.

Vaughn graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a BFA in Music Theatre in 2006. Though primarily an actor, he is also an experienced musician, and was featured playing drums and singing backup on Robbie Limon's Buddy Holly tribute CD. Vaughn plays the drums to a high standard and also has increasing knowledge of piano and guitar.
